A great deal of research has concluded that play-based learning genuinely and positively impactful on children’s learning and development. At the Ark Play-based Learning Fun Mandarin Classes, we use a play-based curriculum, which is very different to traditional classroom curriculum. We incorporate fun and social games, songs, music, dance, crafts, together with unique props and toys, into our Mandarin teaching, Hence our classes are highly engaging and interactive. it stimulate children’s desire to learn Mandarin even outside of our classes. Students are also able to make meaningful connection between Mandarin and their daily lives, and therefore well prepare them for a lifetime of learning .
Learn to SPEAK Mandarin AND to READ Chinese Characters
Another specialty of our program is that we teach children to SPEAK Mandarin , and at the same time to READ written Chinese Characters in the form of words or sentences. we have a large variety of creative “Word Character Games” which enables young children to recognise seemingly complicated Chinese Characters through playing even in the first few classes! Small Size Classes
Unlike most traditional Mandarin Schools, our class sizes are kept small (maximum 8 children per class). This structure enables teachers to engage and interact with every child on a personal level and hence maximizing their opportunities to learn.
